Circuit collects only what it needs to run teams, tryouts and tournaments, never sells your data, and lets you see, correct or delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
Circuit is run by Outpost-33 Esports Event Management Agency, Nigeria ("we", "us"). We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us the data controller under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). Contact us at support@outpost33.org.ng.
2. What we collect

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

You can turn off some emails (for example tryout activity) in Settings. Emails about changes to your team membership, payments and your account are always sent.
4. Who can see your data
- Other users: your public profile (name, handle, photo, games, teams, results and public stats). Your in-game UID history is private and shown only to you, Circuit admins and teams you are joining or playing for.
- Team owners and tournament organisers: what they need to manage their team or event, such as your application, tryout answers and registration proof.
- Circuit admins: may view an account to investigate a reported problem. Every such access is recorded with a reason.
5. Service providers we share data with
We share data only with providers that help us run Circuit, under their own security and confidentiality terms. We never sell your data.

We may also disclose data where Nigerian law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users.
6. International transfers
Some providers store data outside Nigeria (for example in Europe or the United States). Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows, such as the provider's contractual and security commitments.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and profile data: while your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Tournament results and rankings: kept as part of the competition record, linked to your handle.
- Payment records: kept as long as Nigerian tax and accounting law requires.
- Email delivery records and technical logs: up to 12 months.
8. Security
Access to data is limited by role, passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS, and administrative access is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as the law requires.
9. Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data;
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data (you can delete your account yourself in Settings);
- restrict or object to certain uses;
- move your data to another service;
- withdraw consent you gave, such as social sync.
Email support@outpost33.org.ng. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
10. Age
Circuit is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its data. To report a suspected underage account, email support@outpost33.org.ng.
11. Cookies and local storage
Circuit uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember settings such as light or dark theme. We do not use advertising cookies.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
